A Treasure of Hawaiʻi
Native only to the Hawaiian Islands, māmaki (Pipturus albidus) is a cherished endemic & medicinal plant that has been used in Hawaiʻi for generations. A member of the nettle family, māmaki grows naturally in Hawaiian forests, where its leaves have traditionally been prepared as a gentle herbal tea.
Māmaki tea has a smooth, earthy flavor with a naturally mild sweetness, making it beautiful enjoyed either warm or iced. The leaves contain naturally occurring plant compounds, including antioxidants and polyphenols, and today māmaki continues to be appreciated as both a traditional Hawaiian plant and a nourishing herbal beverage.
Each cup offers a simple opportunity to slow down, connect with the ʻāina, and experience a plant found nowhere else in the world.
